Integrated Watershed Management Program in and around ,Nipania, a tribal Village of Amarapra Block in Pakur District, Jharkhand.
LOCATION OF THE AREA :-
Village Nipania, Block Amrapara, District Pakur, Jharkhand. Nipania is the only village with 8 hamlets scattered over the valley area of the watershed.
Impact of the Measures:
With the above implementation measures, the total amount of Water conservation can be calculated as –
1. Farm Pond - 3800 CuM
2. Check Dam reservoirs- 2940 CuM
3. Gully Plugging - 1,000 CuM
Total - 7740 CuM
